Authentic Mexican food. Not too big of a selection, but what they do have is flavorful. There's not a lot of seating, but when you do get a spot, your food arrives quick. Their Guisado de res plate was delicious. Quick and friendly service

Beto's is a pretty legit hole in the wall, cash only Mexican restaurant. They have the BEST tacos divorciados I have EVER eaten. My mom is from Acuña, so we know ALL about the tacos tapatios and this is the place for them! I tasted the menudo my dad ordered, and that was super flavorful. This place looks like it gets pretty packed, and it's a very small place but I'm not one to complain when the food is that delicious. The menu is in Spanish, which lets you know right off the bat that it's most likely going to be authentic food. I felt like I was in Mexico, with the music in the background and the cute decorations. Everyone in there was so nice! Keep in mind this would not be a good place to come with a big group considering there isn't much space. Food is delicious, portions are big & the prices are shockingly low for how good it is! Bring cash & expect to wait, but it will not disappoint. I will definitely go back again.

This is a good, old, hole in the wall Tex-Mex place. The menu is pretty much all in Spanish. So, I had to use my phone a bit to see what some of the menu items were. They also had a nice assortment of candies, etc. that had been imported from 'somewhere.' The food was good. I'd go back.

I cannot believe I never knew about this place before today. My sister and brother in law brought us and told us it's a hole in the wall most people don't know about. Well, it sure is! I knew I was in for some good food when I walked in and saw a family eating with an old lady about 85 years old. Old Hispanic ladies don't eat just anywhere! So this place is not a fancy restaurant and and if you aren't from the area, you probably won't eat there. It's old and run down from the outside but I think it's part of its charm. The food...O my gosh...the food. I had the best Huevos Rancheros ever. Had a taste of the barbacoa and people were lined up at the door with pots to fill with menudo to take home. Not a lot of places still do that. Cannot wait to go back! P.S. my brother-in-law didn't want me to yelp this place because he's been coming here since he was a kid and doesn't want it to change.

CASH ONLY. I've only been here once, and at a suggestion for breakfast "burritos" (egg, refried beans, and chorizo). One person can be full with two, but I was satisfied with one - but partly because breakfast tacos is not really my thing (which is precisely why it is hard for me to review this place). They were good, even though I think they should have been called breakfast tacos instead of breakfast burritos. It's called a burrito here, according to the friendly Mexican lady behind the counter, because of the way the flour tortilla is folded. True hole-in-wall Mexican restaurant/cafe with a pretty big menu, considering the type of place it is. No market/grocery component, but with an "open kitchen" (as in you can see the kitchen pretty easily). Friendly and accommodating service.
